The School of QI were pleased to welcome Helen Crisp, Assistant Director of Research at the Health Foundation, to speak at the School’s QI Evening Event in April.

This event focussed on the importance of context for successful improvement work and gave an overview of the research the Health Foundation is supporting to build this knowledge base and considered aspects including:

 

  • The centrality of context
  • Understanding not just “what works?” but “what works where, how and to what degree?”
  • Can you change the context?
