Public Health Courses Guide Website Report - July 2010
Public Health Courses Guide
This guide was produced by the South East Teaching Public Health Network, led by the University of Southampton, in partnership with NHS Education South Central. The document supports public health practitioner and wider workforce education, training and development across South Central, which is founded on the Public Health Skills and Career Framework for multidisciplinary, multi-agency, and multi-professional public health practice.
This information was collated from university websites and by contacting each institution and requesting detailed module descriptors for their Postgraduate Public Health courses. The content of each module was then mapped against the knowledge and competencies of the Public Health Skills and Career Framework (launched April 2008), for levels 5, 6, and 7.
A searchable website has been developed to contain this information to make it more easily accessible. Please visit the Public Health Course Guide for further information.
