Assessment Evidence Definition and Collection (2)

To allow Panels to define the evidence required by each trainee in a Programme.

Assessment Events (AEs) (3) To allow recording of the schedule over an assessment period, ensuring that a permanent record of all the features of an assessment event are recorded, and that alerts and reminders are sent at appropriate times. Draft v1 03/11/11
Predicted Assessment Records (PARs) (4)

To allow relevant parties to work with the past, present and future Assessments of each trainees in a Programme.

Matching Trainees (PARs) to Assessment Events (5) To ensure that all trainees with due assessments (as defined in their PARs) are included in each Assessment Event. Details can be viewed in Section 6.4 of the Deanery Data Manual. Draft v1 03/11/11
Predicted Assessment Re-Scheduling (6) To re-schedule or cancel Predicted Assessments when a Trainee’s programme is interrupted or terminated. Sections 6.3.6 and 6.3.7 of the Deanery Data Manual cover this in detail. Draft v1 03/11/11
Completion of Assessment Records(7)

To allow various parties secure access to relevant Assessment Records online, allowing key data to be saved.

Booking Assessment Slots (8) As part of the scheduling of the assessment event, Panels and Administrators should be able to set up a set of assessment slots for the specified days, and assign some candidates to slots whilst others can book their own online. Draft v1 03/11/11
Assessment Outcome (9)

To record the Assessment Outcomes for each Predicted Assessment.

Assessment Outcome (QA) (10) To mark relevant candidates who should be considered for QA , and to allow Panel members the ability to record whether a fair assessment has taken place.   Draft v1 03/11/11
Appeals (11) To allow trainees receiving an unsatisfactory Assessment Outcome the option to appeal against the panel’s decision; to alert the Panels to the fact that an appeal has been made; to provide the Appeals Panel with the information required to review the Outcome and record that the original Outcome has been overturned or maintained.
