Resilience and Resourcefulness

Emergency Department Simulation Day - Date to be confirmed

This course is for trainees returning to work to give you an update on changes to the training programme, to refresh clinical knowledge and to address the logistical and emotional aspects of returning to work including clinical confidence and wellbeing.

Critical Incident Management for the Anaesthetist - Date to be confirmed

Simulation Lab, Education Centre, Dorset County Hospital

There are 5 places for this Simulation course, please email suppoRTT.wx@hee.nhs.uk to register your interest. Some examples of scenarios you may be exposed to are difficult airway scenarios, malignant hyperthermia, anaphylaxis. 

SuppoRTT Professional Development Coaching

As a trainee returning to training, you are able to access up to three sessions of professional development coaching to support your return. If you would like to book a coaching session, you must first complete your 'Return to Training' initial return meeting with your Educational Supervisor. After this meeting you can email suppoRTT.wx@hee.nhs.uk and we can put you in touch with one of the SuppoRTT coaches.

Childcare Reimbursement

As part of the Supported Return to Training scheme, we can now cover the costs of any additional professional child care costs (e.g. Nursery/Child miner) you may have from attending these events. We will refund up to £50 per child per day (but not if this is part of your normal child care routine).

Please fill in the expense claim form, by typing in the fields, printing off, signing and posting to HEE Wessex Office (address is on the form), along with a receipt/invoice from your child care provider (who must be Ofsted Registered). Once received we will process and reimburse you.
